Meet Our Scholars

Margaret C.

For almost the last two years to the present, Amigos de Paraguay has had the honor of supporting Margaret, who is majoring in Business at her local University and desires to open a dress shop. She recently emailed us and said: “As always, I have to thank you for all the effort you are making for me, thank you for the support. It is worth mentioning that the computer you bought me is very useful. I’m able to do all my school work very well thanks to that.” A part from schoolwork, she makes time for family (birthdays and celebrating holidays) and going to church.

Our Newest Scholar Milagros A.

Milagros, or Mili, was living at Casa de Esmeralda for several years and was recently accepted into our Scholar Program! This is a three-part program where she can grow spiritually, heal mentally and learn excellent self-care (such as fitness and dental needs).

Some of Mili's other talents are, playing handball and volleyball, and she would like to study economics and accounting at a local university someday. Her favorite subject is Math and one of her favorite Psalms is Psalms 94. Check out more info on on our Instagram page. Well done Mili, we are very proud of you!
